Hi everybody! It’s Stef. Today I want to show you how I achieved this modernized 80’s make-up. Let’s begin! I started by priming my lids with a burgundy cream shadow, to hold the colour in place. Blend with your finger.
Next I used a matte neon pink shadow across my entire lid, and blended out the crease with a satin violet. You want to keep the crease low for this look. A big part of this make-up is the bright blue below the eye.
You want to use your favourite blue pencil and set it with a matching eyeshadow to keep it in place and to lock in the vibrancy. Drag the shadow through your crease as well, for extra definition. Highlight the browbone with a matte shadow close to your skintone.
Create a thin winged liner with your favourite liquid liner! Try to keep it small, the focus of this look is on the colour. Throw on some fluterry lashes, and while they dry, do your brows! I colour my brows to match my hair, but you can do them whatever colour you like.
The important part is that you frame the eye make-up well. Layer on your favourite black mascara on the upper lashes, and on the bottom lashes, use a vibrant blue mascara to further intensify the vibrancy! You may want to use a hefty amount of bronzer and blush – the 80’s was not a time to be shy with your cheek colour.
I threw on a shining highlighter to modernize the face! For lips, you can use any shade you want so long as it’s icy and cool. This is a combination of several of my favourite pale pink lip products. That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
